The Gillette ProShield Power men's razor blade refills with lubrication before and after the blades, shields skin from irritation while you shave for closeness and comfort. ProShield cartridges contain low cutting force blades (*blades 1 to 4) , coated with an anti-friction layer. Thinner than a surgeon's scalpel, the blades cut with low resistance, minimising tug and pull. Resting on a spring-mounted base, the blades automatically adapt to skin irregularities, offering a clean, close and comfortable shave.

Gillette's iconic Lubrastrip provides the ProShield Power cartridge with lubrication both before and after the blades. Made from pre-lubricated material, this yellow, cushioning Lubrastrip is activated when wet, slowly releasing its ingredients to offer a slick, smooth glide and help shield the skin from irritation.

ProShield Power cartridges feature a microcomb, positioned between the microfins and the blades. The microslots are designed to gently guide the hairs to the blades, preparing them for optimal cutting, reducing tug and pull. Helping the blades capture virtually every hair, the microcomb is a feature of Gillette's most advanced cartridges.

The innovative blade stabiliser featured on the ProShield Power's cartridge helps to maintain an optimal distance between the 5 blades. Positioned in the centre of the cartridge, this unique feature is designed to prevent the blades from moving laterally, helping to manage skin bulging in to the blades. This short and accurate distance makes for a low-friction, comfortable shave.
