How to use

Cockapoos, Poodles, Cavapoos and other curly or longer haired breeds need detangling every day. This may sound like a lot but this type of coat is prone to knotting or matting.

Most other dogs need de-shedding at least once or twice a week. Each session will also help your dog regulate their body heat far easier. You may need to use your Pet Teezer De-Shedding Brush more during heavy shedding seasons.

Our brushes are safe and compatible with almost every breed! The only time you should not brush your dog is if they have brush burn, which is caused by brushing your dog with too much pressure and causing a burn or rash.
You should also not press or brush too hard onto your dog’s skin if they have any skin problems or mats as this could cause them more pain and create more tangles. If this happens, you should seek help from your dog groomer.

There’s a wide range of different brushes that groomers use, however our range of detangling brushes are super gentle, making the grooming experience pleasant for you and your pooch.

There are shampoos to help with the grooming process, however we recommend using a brush alongside the bath process. The cleaner the coat, the smoother the hair, the easier it is to brush.
